Camilo Suero is responsible for representing the interests of the state's 11,000 Hispanic owned businesses and management of day-to-day Hispanic Chamber operations. Prior to joining the Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Suero had an accomplished 17 year career in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, spent between Ryder Logistics (4) and Ford Motor Company (13). In his most recent role at Ford, Suero assisted new and distressed suppliers implementing guidelines and recovery actions to successfully do business with OEMs. Suero is well known in the local Hispanic community having served as President of the Detroit Chapter of the National Society of Hispanic MBA's as well as an executive board member of Ford Hispanic Network. Suero holds a Masters in Business Administration from Wayne State University, Detroit, and a B.S. in Business Administration from UNIBE, Santo Domingo, Dom. Republic. As the Senior Field Marketing Specialist at Microsoft, Thomas was instrumental in the launch of Microsoft's Automotive vertical. Formerly with Deloitte, Microsoft, and AT&T, Thomas is an expert in sales and in building relationships with C-Level executives. Her broad business and marketing background includes online marketing with an emphasis in strategy, analytics, and social media monitoring applications. She has implemented digital and traditional marketing strategies, solution sales, lead generation, and CRM strategies supporting the Automotive, Manufacturing, Financial Services, Healthcare, e-Commerce, Software, and Telecommunications vertical markets.
Nilda is also an entrepreneur and has been featured in magazines including in the Hispanic Women section of Hispanic Business.
Nilda will be leading our corporate and member recruitment and retention strategies, programs for our members, membership marketing collateral, new member orientation and member events. Additionally, Nilda will enhance our CADENAS programs and activities serving as staff liaison on committees.
