Mariana Atencio

Award-winning Peabody journalist, best-selling author, viral speaker and media founder.

For her reporting, Mariana has been honored with a Gracie Award, three national Emmy nominations and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists Presidential Award.



Originally from Venezuela, Mariana became an anchor at Univision and a national correspondent at NBC News. She is a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute, spokesperson and board member for the future Smithsonian American Latino Museum in D.C.

Natalie Miramontes

Natalie Miramontes is a proud Latina from Northern California. She has had a vibrant career in the NBA since 2007. She began as a professional dancer for the Golden State Warriors and has been the Detroit Pistons Dance Team Director since 2013. She has lived in Michigan since 2011 and is deeply committed to the Metro Detroit community, where she volunteers actively. Natalie Miramontes brings passion, energy, and cultural pride to every event she hosts.
